The Ampe Sports Global Foundation (ASG Foundation) has eight-member Governing Board that include the National President of Cultural Games Association who is the Chairperson of the ASG Foundation, Directors of Education and Sports Authority, Ambassador General of Cultural Games, Representative and Royal Chief in the Ashanti Kingdom and Member of Parliamentary Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture.
The Board meets and decides together on important areas such as research, global networking, sustainable development and expenditure review. The Board Chairman, His Royal Leadership (HRL) Nana Boateng Gyimah II recognizes the legacy of the ASG Foundation and maintains effective ties with global cultural organizations to increase international appreciations and interests in the Ampe Foundation.

OUR APPROACH

The Chairman of the Governing Board of the ASG Foundation believes that effective cultural practices including cultural games activities strengthen the prevention of alien or foreign influence on community, and render any political strategic influence on community fruitless.
Rather than focusing on the development and promotions of males’ cultural games and sports, the Ampe Sports Global Foundation initiated the Ampe Sports to use it as a base to strengthen the growth of women in sports while encouraging the Foundation’s revenue initiative to support the principal objective of empowering women through cultural games and Ampe Sports. Our Foundation has practical approach to deliver effective solutions to accountability, global networking, unemployment, etc. Other approach may include:

MISSION

We strive to promote world-class fascinating cultural games including the Ampe Sports that has the potential to attract sponsors and investors, reduce criminal activities and enhance employment opportunities.

VISION

Our vision in the Ampe Sports Global Foundation is the development and long term existing of gender neutral sports that promotes community or national peace preserve cultural heritage and foster social cohesion in building cultural ties among diverse groups in society.

THE FOUNDATION’S GOALS

Our focus in on promoting cultural game or sports that has a reasonable size of interest group and the Ampe Sports is an exclusive type even though it is highly deemed as female dominated sports. The Foundation’s goals given below are not exhausted to list additional ones as when it becomes available to do so CGA maintains its head office in Accra, Ghana, with its international representatives in many African and Western countries. CGA is the only government-recognized organization mandated to research, develop and promote Ghana’s traditional sports and cultural events.
